First Time Homebuyer Downpayment and Closing Cost Assistance Grants
Yes, your household may be eligible for a grant ("free" money) to purchase your first home!
Grants range in size from $4,950 to $14,000.To be eligible for the First Time Homebuyer's Assistance Grant, houshold income cannot be above the following guidelines:

| 2 people | $47,350 |
| 3 people | $53,300 |
| 4 people | $59,200 |
| 5 people | $63,950 |
| 6 people | $68,650 |
| 7 people | $73,400 |
| 8 people | $78,150 |
Currently funds are available for families purchasing a house anywhere in Hampshire, Franklin, and Hampden Counties. However, Valley CDC only provides counseling for families who work, reside, or will purchase in Hampshire County.
